British World Title challengers in the 80's

    Hey as you may or may not know i am compiling a lsit of all British "world" title challengers but need a little help. I am looking for all the British "world" (WBO WBA IBF WBC) title challengers from the 80's most of the obvious ones i know its the obscure fighters that didnt win or were not as well known that i have problems with so any and all suggestion will be welcome

    I was going to say Michael Watson, but he didn't beat Benn until '89, and didn't get his shot until '90.

    Off the top of my head i have Mccrory Benn Bruno Honeyghan Andries Mckenzie Minter

    steve boyle 1989 wbc international andy holigan think that might of been early 90s tho for wbc and terry marsh he for some sort of title ibo a think in the 80s and jim mcdonnel got beat against azuma nelson in 89 you could say barry mcguigan aswell against cruz am sure theres many more tho

    Holligan was 93 against chavez i have compiled a complete 90's list of challengers and i am startin on the 80's now

    Ah... a quick look at boxrec, just outside, damn.. Johnny Nelson WBC title fight in January 1990.
