You display classic megalomaniacal tendancies. I am suposed to be bothered about being on your 'ignore list' when I clearly told you to **** off altogether?

There should be a 'Classic MMA' forum just for you, you boring old twat.

Oh, OK, Yes Mr Scurla. I will go to Sherdog now, just as requested by the king of the ESB MMA forum. Anything else I can do for you, sir?

You posting pictures like that is another reason to add to the fact that 'both have PRIDE in the title'.

If you look at Brock's wrestling, namely guys he's taken down, then that list only extends to Mir 1 & Heath Herring rounds two and three IIRC. Lil ole Randy was able to neutralise this massive size disparity with good ole Greco/Roman against the cage until Brock hit him, that's the only example of Brock using his size advantage was the disparity in reach knowledge, and Dan is obviously bigger the Randy. He didnt take Mir down in the rematch until Frank tried to go Uriah Faber and throw a double knee, and obviously Carwin gassed out after spending 2 minutes punching Lesnar's forearms, he didnt out wrestle either until then. The Cain and Reem fights speak for themselves

The ONLY advantage Brock has in this on is his right hand which knocked down Randy and Heath, and maybe his speed for a big guy. I can conceivably see him catching Dan with one, but Seven is a tough SOB, something Brock is not

I made a post in another thread before the Lesnar Reem fight saying that Lesnars wrestling is the most overrated thing in MMA, and in fact looking at the evidence he isn't a good wrestler at all. I was accused of making the dumbest post in history.

I still maintain BL's wrestling was dog****. i don't care about Highschool this and national championships that. If you look at his MMA career his wrestling was average at best. For a guy with his size and athletic ability he seriously underachieved wrestling wise. I mean, on his highlight reel they always showed him charging at a downed Heath Herring and he ****ing missed! Is that really a 'highlight'?

This is what I said too but I thought it wrestling was better than Severns, at least in terms of credentials. I guess I was dead wrong.

I would still take Brock in this fight though. Like I said, Too big, too fast, too athletic. Too much for Dan.

I think ''dog****'' is a little harsh, he obviously had some wrestling chops. But if you watch his fights, as you say, it's clear his translation of his skill set to MMA is grossly overrated.

The two guys he did out wrestle are notoriously poor HW MMA wrestlers themselves. HH and Mir are notoriously weak in TDD and were outclassed in that area LONG before Brock even considered lacing them up. And both, as far as Im aware, have no amateur wrestling pedigree, at least not in the class of guys like Randy, Cain and Carwin.

If Brock's wrestling was as good as advertised, then he would have schooled all three of these guys in grappling as he did with Mir and HH. Fact is, he didnt

Yeah, maybe. I was just reiterating the point that mentioning Brocks wrestling when talking about possible or hypothetical matchups should be minimised. It's a bit of a myth in my opinion.

Yeah, you're right, that is harsh. Let me rephrase: Lesnars wrestling was dog**** compared to what it was purported to be. The difference between what it was said to be and what he ever showed in a live fight was HUGE. Like i said, probably the most overrated thing in all MMA history. It was mentioned before every fight as though it would be TEH deciding factor and it just never materialised.

I agree with this, I've been saying it for a long time now.
