Chambers does have fast hands but he has bad habits too, such as pulling straight back, being too defensive when pressured, and not spinning out when on the ropes. Guinn was having success early until he stopped punching in the middle rounds.

I do think Chambers has the most potential of any American heavy prospect right now, but no way he beats a top guy, and it's very possible Brock would beat him.

I like Brock, yes his chin is weak, but he is a good fighter and a great person for the sport. I think he beats Chambers. Will be a decent fight for a ShoBox telecast.

The same could be said x3 for Chambers, except that he hasn't faced a good fighter to get knocked out by yet. Brock isn't that great, but Chambers is worse. :!:

Brock says in an interview that nothing is finalized and signed yet. So this is not official yet.

No, thats ridicoulos. That would mean Byrd has a glass chin as well and all the other guys Wlad has knocked out.

I like Brock to win this one. He's in no hurry to rematch Wlad...a win would give him a title shot against someone else, hopefully.

Brock gets his ass handed to him by either Byrd or Povetkin, so he's not getting another title shot yet anyway.

thats an absolutely ******ed post. Brock is a solid fighter. he doesnt excel at anything but he is good at everything in boxing. Good power, good speed, good movement, good chin, etc.

he was giving the arguably best HW in the world a hard time for a few rounds. He did well in the fight until eating that monster of a right hand. Go watch some more fights and learn something before you make yourself look like an idiot again.

Because it left a huge opening. In the Guinn fight, if Guinn would have followed him and thrown a right, that chin was there to be hit. But, Guinn being Guinn, he held back.

Not sure how Brock would "get his ass handed to him." That's a pretty hyperbolic statement.

Byrd and (as much as I like him) Povetkin are ??s at this point. Hard to tell what Byrd has left, he looked just OK against punching bag Maranaccio, and layoffs tend to hurt Byrd.

Povetkin would most likely be too much for Brock, but you can't say that with certainty. Brock does have the greater pro experience and would be a big step up from Larry Donald.

This is a very interesting fight as i see Chambers as being the best American Heavyweight Prospect. Brock ( who probably was the best American prospect until he met Wlad) is taking a very dangerous fight, props to both fighters. I think a loss would definitely hurt Brock more than Chambers (who is still up and coming). Brock's resume is much better than Chambers, we shall see if the experience plays in this fight. This is very tough to call, I am hoping for a Brock win but think Chambers might eek it out (possibly suffering a knockdown at some point).

I recall Brock winning a few of the early rounds. He was doing well. Stop being blind.
