When you said you two were right I thought you were going to mention the claim that Ponce is shopworn, you were in for it there for a moment. Thing is though, whether or not he received the decision doesn't matter, because he didn't deserve it. So when people say "well, one positive aspect of Broner is that he was given the decision against Ponce." Well so ****ing what? If he didn't deserve it don't list it as a reason why he's not overrated by some.

Sure, it looks good on paper, but anyone who bases their opinion from Boxrec doesn't warrant attention.

Also, you can't argue with the vid and wiki. Spade.

Any reason why you, who I will assume is a grown man, are acting with such immaturity? Why would you take such offense from a mere question? You strike me as rather ignorant by throwing about childish insults for seemingly no reason, because it doesn't solidify the rather ludicrous claim you made. It just makes you look arrogant, and as though you have no basis for your argument. I'm sure you won't be best pleased by a 19 year old informing you of this, particularly if you're above the age of about, lets say, 12, maybe?

You fall under the bracket of those that frustrate me somewhat, which is people who, for whatever reason, cannot acknowledge the improvement Ponce has made in recent years. To become more refined was neccessary, seeing as he got blown away in a round with his previous method of going about his work.

He has indeed probably plateaued in his comeback progress, and is still not as refined a boxer as even the majority of inexperienced up-and-comers. Still, we aren't talking about someone who went from being terrible to slightly less terrible, or capable to very good. He got absolutely pasted, went back to the drawing board, and went from being quite poor to at least decent(as in, improving his abilities as a boxer), while retaining what
made him successful in the first place i.e. his power.

For me, he's undefeated since his comeback, I really think he was short-changed to a major degree against Broner. I'm not going to say it was some kind of heinous piece of work, but let's just say he didn't exactly deserve to be on the wrong end of the decision. Bearing in mind that was at super-feather, and how good Broner has looked after(granted, against Litzau, whose chin is pretty attrocious) it puts into context how well Ponce has done.

Then again, you are obviously more educated on the subject than myself, I mean, you don't even have to argue your case you're that correct, all you have to do is act in a juvenile manner, trying to display some sort of superiority over everyone, and that is apparently all that is needed.

Now, some sort of, maybe intelligent response would suffice, but if you have no interest in actually trying to debate about a fighter I've actually watched for many years, I suugest you don't reply at all, not even one of your rather humourous insults will be needed.

    Thanks in advance.:thumbsup

It still makes no sense whatsoever, the slang or the idea that you know what you are talking about...I will respond to your earlier posting later...Just one question for clarification....do you consider the Ponce de Leon who fought Broner to have been a prime example?
