Broner hate is unreal

Thurman has confidence, but he doesn't come across as an arrogant wind bag. It's more like a "genuine belief in himself." There is a humility in his confidence and the way he talks about it. It doesn't come across as "arrogant." It sounds like a confident young man who believes in himself. The confidence feels "genuine and real."

Broner is a walking clown. His entire persona seems "manufactured and fake, including his confidence." There is just no other way to describe him. The only thing missing is the red nose and clown shoes. I could care less what titles he won, his personality is trash and he's not as good as he thinks he is. Period. Talented, sure. But an ATG? Certainly not and I don't think he ever will be. Too flat footed and I question his work ethic. If Broner would just display some humility, people would have no problem with him.

And finally: Thurman would beat the **** out of Broner in the ring. Post to post.

 

Broner wont be around long enough as he is'nt very good.

He had an outclassed opponent last night who was a sitting duck and instead of closing the show he outright ran and refused to fight.

Yeah, a fighter can be popular and get paydays out of people hating, but those fighters have to dipose of C level opposition and act like they just beat SRR in order to peek peoples interest.
After tasting Maidana, it looks like Broner is going to play the safe card even against overmatched opposition.
Wladimir Klitchko has gone this route and what resulted was HBO dropping him from their broadcasts.

 

"World Champion" doesn't mean much anymore man...lamont Peterson was KO'd by Matthysse, arguably lost to Khan (and cheated in a couple ways to get his "win") and could lose to Danny Garcia in april, and STILL be a "world champion"...Broner has exactly one good, quality win vs Malignaggi....other than that nothing of importance. Maybe he goes on to be a p4p fighter, but his whole mayweather act when he hasn't done s*** in the sport yet gets old

3 time world champion in an era where titles are a dime a dozen.
Titles nowdays dont hold much weight.

 

Vazquez would have caused him problems with his boxing and moving. Broner is too flat footed. He basically skipped over the 135 division. Terrence Crawford would also present problems for him.

Sorry, I'm not sold on Broner. I think there is a list of guys, an actual list, of people around his weight class that I feel would beat him. Given that reality, Broner should chill on his attitude, he's not a great. He's "good." Broner is not even the best fighter in his division.

 

Overrated, arrogant clown, epitomizes the frivolous/materialistic life style. What exactly is there to like about this guy???? He doesn't have any redeemable qualities, overrated as a fighter and a **** person.

 

Correct, "world champion" means nothing when some divisions have like 6-7 "world champions" in it...The kid's talented and may have an amazing career when it's all done, but right now his 3 weight class "world titles" mean NOTHING...he's got a big win against Paulie Malignaggi, a solid win against Antonio Demarco, that's it

 

And even in that one, you can make the case Paulie exposed Broner a bit.

 

Agreed...Broner won that fight close in my opinion, but if Paulie had ANYTHING in his punches that's a different fight

 

I thought Broner eeked the decision as well, my father (older boxing fan perspective) on the other hand, felt Paulie should have retained his title. In his words: "Broner didn't do enough to take that belt. Paulie out boxed him."
