This is why you don't crown a pretender before he is actually proven. Once the opponents were near the same size, his holes became glaringly obvious to the casual fans.
broner is the truth?? what do u mean? im not hater but the man aint beat nowbody.. and i acutally like the dude n still think he has potential. but i wanna see him get into it with some one good again i dont want tune ups with him. broner needs to get back in there wit sum one like devon alexander, robert guerrero, lucas mattysse,...if hes talking all this **** he needs to fight these kinda guys u cant talk all that **** n go fight sum bum like he used to do.. unless this humbles him and admits he needs tune to develop and become better
About billions....needs to be adjusted to ....about thousands.......a wannabe gate keeper in the making.
Give Paulie a little credit....he's not gonna knock anyone out with those pillows but he'll outbox a lot of fighters who come in with the wrong style or ill prepared. His fight with Malinaggi wasn't a "dangerous" fight but it was a very difficult opponent from a stylistic standpoint. I did NOT feel Broner was going to walk through Paulie....and he didn't....He had a hard time ad******g to Paulie's style, speed and work rate. Chino was his first DANGEROUS fight aside from the PDL showing at lightweight
I dislike him on so many levels as a representation of boxing....however, his boxing abilities and skills are very good. If he recovers and humble his self a little, we can possible see some great fights and achievements from "Broner"...
I hate Broner, watching him get smacked around pillar to post was gratifying on so many levels. But, when he throws in combination and was aggressive you can tell that he has talent. He seems to want to be a slick defensive fighter but he doesn't have that in him. He might be better off going the other way, eschewing the shoulder roll for a high guard and getting offensive minded.
