Nope. As far as I'm concerned he is the king of his division. 47 tried. There is no blueprint. Why should he have to move up any way? Should you be asking if anyone can challenge his dominance, instead of trying to denigrate his accomplishment.
featherweight has been long dead since the marquez-morales-pacquiao years. and a fighter should look for better competition if he wants to gain more fame and money. (ODLH, FMJ, Pac, Donaire, Duran, etc) just sayin
if he wants to stay in that division fine by me why outsiders want to force guys up is ridiculous. But yes if he wants more money he has to go up but if he is comfortable with his life then let him live.
If he wants to be world wide famous, he might want to move up, but if he doesn't nothing wrong with staying put and just dominating his division. Which he has done.
at the end of the day, it's up to him. it's up to broner if wanna fight gamboa, floyd on pac, maravilla on bute. /this thread
they have an opponent in common, Ponce de Leon. Broner had a hard time beating the guy(more than once had PDL winning),Gamboa toyed with him until the fight was stop by a nasty cut. Not that always work that way, but it gives you an idea.
Well yes, but thats the benefit of a metal mandible. To be able to take shots long after your brain has subdural hematomed to Bolivia.
I'm leaning towards Gamboa....my 2 favorite fighters though. Broners size, speed and power could trouble Gamboa though. Gamboa would have to be the favorite but it'd be a good fight and I wouldn't rule out Brone by KO either
