Hate to admit it but Broner does fight a lot like Floyd. Present day Floyd that is. It kind of bother me how hard he tries to copy Floyd though. The way he moves laterally and his stance.

The way he shoots his punches and defends reminds me of the WW counter punching style Floyd uses. And of course the main thing that it really stands out is his Posture.

Couple things different though Broner lags behind is his counters. His timing is not as sharp as Floyd and often telegraphs it on counters. He didn't learn Floyd's signature Lead rights and leap left hooks. However he seem to be A lot more committed to his shots and take more chances than present day Floyd.

Broner is slowly winning me over though. The kid does have immense talent.

He has talent...I would not say immense...Floyd at his age was a phenomenal talent, the footwork...the way he used to dance...

agreed. People like to criticize him about his shoulder roll defense saying he's tryiing to be floyd and all, but how many fighters have we seen try this technique and FAIL miserably? i was watching a couple of his fights the other day and noticed how SOLID his defense has become. he's almost unpenatratable.

anyone who can keep winning while imitating someone is super talented. he's also a pretty good inside fighter along with his speed and power.

his footwork isn't that good, but i guess that's where his upper body defense comes in handy. dude is something special.

If he's so talented he should focus on becoming his own fighter, I've never seen something as pathetic as aspiring to be somebody elses "little brother", show some self respect and be your own person

With the exception of Phillip N'dou Lightweight Floyd broke his hand in every fight he has had at 135. Floyd was very fragile at 135 for some reason.

    Fights nothing like a Floyd

    Footwork worse
    Defence worse
    Attack worse

Keeps his mouth wide open ready to be broken some day

    An imitation of Mayweather, yeah.

He doesn't mirror a 130lb or 135lb Floyd, Broner doesn't have the same ability with his feet.
