I SHOULD have said, Martinez fights like a psycho;) Totally agree with your final point btw. He has the mindset of a champion now.

    No, I agree, he's a maniac.

Broner would not handle this maniac easily

No way jose is Ricky Burns winning this fight, said it before, I'll say it again.

He has plenty of fanboys on this board and a fanboys opinion should never be taken as gospel. It clouds their judgment, because of the love they have for the fighter. They have obviously been in here with the trigger finger.

A clear boxing head is needed to predict fights, to be able to see the whole picture.

I think Ricky could do a bit better than De Marco did, but ultimately I think it ends in similar fashion, Broner is just to good and to advanced in a number of areas boxing wise.

They wont fight so the question is sadly pointless.

Broner for me said why in other threads. Think it becomes one sided in middle rounds..

He KNOWS guys, this is the messiah, the biggest fanboy out the lot, just stick your house on the fight straight away man, Ricky Burns with the W.......and then lose the f*cker and come on here at a library having a go at the man, the myth, the legend himself for convincing you of the way it was gonna be.

Broner would be favourite with most people and i can see why.

I believe at worse Ricky gives him his worse night by a distance, imo we have yet to see the best Ricky Burns, i just get the feeling he has a gear or two left that he hasn't had to use, Billy will know better than me about this though, it's just a feeling i get watching him in recent fights.

I actually haven't seen Broner fight, so I can't comment. That's one of the down sides to living in Korea, I have missed out on quite a few fights.

Burns management won't take the fight. If they did, I don't see anything that Burns can do that Broner can't adapt to.

****, I HATE defending Billy Nelson here, for many reasons! Main one being hes the luckiest scottish trainer in history to land flawed genius at the time Ricky Burns. However, the one thing Billy does well apart from keeping Ricky fit & ticking over, is predicting how Burns fights will go.

Theres really no need to try to imply that Billy Nelson is the new David Icke of scottish boxing though... thats really below the belt in IMHO.

Burns is way too basic to win this type of fight

Being a pretty good all rounder isn't going to do it against an elite talent like broner

I genuinely think people are voting with their hearts not their heads, Burns is not on the level of broner

Yes Dunky it's pure and utter luck you ****ing clown, seriously mate some of the **** you write on these pages make people in boxing cringe.
Your a plain and simple want to be and will never will be! The reason being you haven't a clue about boxing, sorry for being so bluntt but if It's good for the goose Dunky!!!!!!
Predicting how fight can be won and lost Dunky, now I might be wrong but I thought that was the sign of someone who knows what there on about?
    Clearly you don't!!!
Ricky to HIS credit is without doubt the most improved boxer in the UK for many years and you think it's down to getting him fit and ticking over?WHAT A ****ING STATEMENT!! Think about it Dunky and when you realise what a large one you've sounded an apology will be accepted on the grounds you never knew any better.

Dunky, that's an embarrassing statement to make.

Nobody reckoned he was going anywhere, and with good reason, after he was smacked around for 12 rounds by Carl Johanneson.

''****ing hell, he's a brave lad'' was the general sentiment when I was watching with my mates.

I think other trainers who have achieved significantly less in recent times get more credit. That's the case on both sides of the pond.
