It was the coming in at 143 that left a bad taste with me mate. He's got the ptential to be the next real superstar, especially since Canelo seems to be showing no interest in matchups that the fans want, but he's already showing a blatant disregard for the sport.
I agree he's not been shitty to any fighters, and until Saturday I liked him a lot, although as I said, that was pretty distasteful and at 22 he should be getting people believing in him.

I do respect him for immediately calling out demarco, rios, and other top guys in the aftermath of that fight, it makes me know he's confident and not interested in avoiding tough challenges.

Exactly and I've been telling these fools that since the weigh in. He's making a name for himself by getting under his haters skin. The guy is brilliant and will be the next big thing in boxing. Just when the PBF haters thought the PBF nightmare was winding down here comes a guy who talks even more **** and has the goods.:rofl:lol: I love it.

I agree with just about everything except the weight thing is the wrong way to go about it.With the right attitude this boy can go really far,but I'd worry that he could get caught out by forgetting the important things and believing everyone around him kissing ass.Sometimes you need someone to tell you no and I'd worry that he's not got the same commitment and discipline Flyd had at a similar stage.
It's all there if he wants it though.Just needs a calming influence.
And Hatesrats av is the av of the year so far.

Its funny how people question the intelligence of PBF (and Broner), they act like their success was a mere fluke and they have no role in what has come their way.

How dumb could PBF be to become the Number one PPV star? It was an accident right? It was also an accident that he changed the percentage of fights that he keeps in pocket right?

Broner is only trying to follow PBF blueprint, he is smart enough to see who the person who has been the most successful fighter in the ring and the box office for the last 20 years and follow in his foot steps. He does not have the pedigree of Oscar or the natural fan base. I guess he should be a Borat like wlad (it goes to show you some fools will buy anything if its a HW), or a bible thumper like Ward, or nice guy like SSM or Bradley. Yeah, they are all great ways to make a living.

A large segment do not like the hip-hop culture or in reality they are in fear of it. The kid is being himself and having a good time, and smart enough to realize that many people will love it and many more will hate it. Broner, like Floyd's, career feeds of off peoples hate . . . so keep on keeping on. Broner will be the one laughing all the way to the bank.

BTW, I think Broner was a real ass with the weight thing. However, the outrage and scorn has been disproportionate to the infraction. Where was this type of outrage for other fighters who have done the same thing? He ****ed up and payed the price. There are penalties in place for this type of thing.

A lot of his stock rose through his shameless approach in copying Floyd jr. That annoys me but the kid got humor and i'm starting to like him some.
