I always like Bryant and got massive respect for him. Why? Because he got quiet impresive talent and work hard. You must remeber that he start boxing very late, must working in his first part of career on full time job and still he was able to beat people like Artur Szpilka who boxing from Young age and got few thousands PLN month by month from manager.

He actually was quiet near to top 10 in some moment. He probably make bad decision to leave his trainer after Klitschko fight trying new more agresive style.

End of the day he give probably hardest fight for Joe Joyce after Zhang off course. This was pretty close to draw.

That's why I think if he will be in good shape there is still space for him to fight with some names. And one of his atributes was quiet good defence and chin- it was not easy to KO this dudes. Soo this will be good test for people like Hrgovic, Anderson, Jalovov, Makhmudov and others.

But off course long pause dont look optimistic.

For me his biggest mistake and problem was fact that he cant learn to use his tremendous reach. If he will learn to use jab with this 216 cm reach if I good remeber he will be much more difficult opponent.

I'm not focusing primarily on Wlad and Ortiz - those guys were too much for him, but it's not like he really did anything super impressive to be ranking him anywhere beyond fringe top ten anyway.

Liakhovic, Fedosov, Tupou, Szpilka... These guys weren't really all that special - it's a solid enough resume for a gatekeeper, but it's not the stuff to base claims of being anything more than that on...

Perez is a decent enough win, but again wasn't that special (having just drawn with Takam) and it was close.
Going 50/50 with a bloke who's just drawn against a gatekeeper and hasn't done anything to suggest he's any more than that himself? To me, that suggests it's difficult to claim Jennings was anything significantly beyond a gatekeeper himself.

...hey, Rydell Booker was able to return after 14 years and bag himself a few decent paydays. :nusenuse:

Also it feels so bizarre to realize that Booker is only a few years older than Jennings. :dunno
