By box office I meant ticket sales..they had to pull the card a few months ago because it completely flopped. This Mama defence is not a fight anybody is particularly interested in, so MTK taking it off Warrens plate makes sense.

I’m sure if Sunny is in a unification/big fight than he will be back on BT.

That’s what I thought, but clearly there has been a fall out or something. Fortunately for Williams this Eubank fight has developed, because outside of that I’m not sure where a promoter can take him, as I’m assuming he doesn’t want to fight at domestic level for the time being.

You believe that ??? , frank tells bt that his only world champ (I think ) is not boxing on their platform coz of ticket sales haha.
If that's the case Frank would have to pull all his shows .
Ticket sales are not the biggest revenue, TV money is.

BT are not bothered about Sunny Edwards’ mandatory defence. They are concerned with Fury/Joyce/Dubois/Yarde/T Fury etc and PPVs that come there way.

The Sunny show was a complete mess and they pulled it - it’s crystall clear. Extremely poor sales and the card wasn’t good enough.

I know Matchroom don’t have many fighters on long term contracts and they’re just fight by fight, maybe Warren is the same. The fighters are signed long term to MTK though and probably got verbal agreements with QP, Sky or Matchroom that they’ll continue with them (especially the big fights) but fight on MTK, sorry Probellum cards when they please.

I agree they are MTK fighters but now they are in the fully fledged promoting game. How can the likes of frank make any plans with their fighters. Let’s say Charlie Edwards gets into a position to fight Donaire for instance. Frank doesn’t know if he’s putting that fight on or propellum will nab it

    Thought
Thought QP generally preferred longer contracts especially with the younger fighters. Is weird as there was a big announcement in July 2020 of Liam Williams signing a long term agreement

So If the card wasn't good enough BT and Frank let their only world champion box on another platform but Nathan Heaney against a bum and David Adelaye boxing a no mark is OK.
