If the pricing was genuinely reasonable, and the overall card was going to be a good event I would pay for it. And that's all a very big if IMO.

You have to be joking, I can't think of one Warren fighter that is worth paying to see.

Saunders vs Golovkin, Groves vs Degale 2 and Frampton vs Selby would all be PPV on Sky. Does anybody seriously think BT should put fights like that together and then bung them on their regular channels just to prove they love the hardcore fans? Setanta went down the road of putting PPV worthy fights on free to air. It finished them.

Warren isn't thick. I'd imagine these cards will be stacked and reasonably priced to begin with.

haha yeah im sure fury against an unknown bum will do millions of ppv buys.. lol
The main reason sky's ppv model is succesful is because of the sky sports news channel, 24 hours a day it promotes sporting events on the sky channel and they get thousands if not millions of people watching it throughout the day, no casuals know who saunder is, so his ppv would flop. regardless of the opponent

If fury's comeback is on PPV, I may as well just...fall off the cliff now. They can't justify Fury vs no-name....they just can't.

I mean, who are they going to put on PPV? Even BJS vs GGG doesn't have enough demand by normal viewers, so that surely cant be PPV either.

Don't do this BT, please no. I was so pleased with having access to boxnation and BT sport boxing for free with my broadband package, don't turn your back now...

So what they are planning then is to do Fury on PPV against no-name. That is unacceptable. It doesn't do numbers. Would be surprised if it did more than 100k buys in the UK. Fury is a big name, but he's on par with the likes of Frampton, Khan, Brook, Haye etc. He is not a PPV fighter unless against top opposition. BT seem to think by the looks of things that Fury is as big as Joshua in terms of PPV, they are so far off reality..

You’re missing the part where boxnation is already PPV! It’s not free to air. How many good shows have been on this year? Linares - Lomachenko, great upcoming fight. But on Sky I would get that as part of my package where I get other boxing shows, football, motor racing, golf etc.

Imagine paying each month for a specific boxing channel and then having to pay again to watch more boxing. It’s ludicrous. You want PPV that’s fine and I completely understand that it’s nevessary to compete but then you’ve got to make BN free to air.

I’m wondering whether another main focus of this is Conor McGregor and the ufc. I don’t know what numbers it would do but all his fights have been on normal BT sport.

Okay that's a bit dramatic regarding setanta. You should mention them over spending on football, PGA golf etc etc.

Setanta tried competing with sky but never had the funds to back it up

BT box office isn't the problem.

The fact that no TV station was mentioned last week and then this week bt box office is announced tells me Fury will be on ppv.

Fury vs the worst of the worst. Does that sound appealing to you?
