Very mature of Frank to put the past aside for the good of the sport and the fans

hopefully Eddie will grow up and accept this generous offer

But Tyson doesn't fight in the UK - hasn't for two whole years and doesn't seem likely to any time soon. So what is this 'UK side of the business' that Frank looks after?

Negotiations and planning with BT, sponsorship, press, European affairs and a whole host other assorted promotional duties.

Just seems like waffle. 'Negotiations and planning with BT?' Basically means BT have the rights to Fury fights yeah? They'll sort out marketing from their end for it.

Basically Tyson's an Arum fighter and Frank's promotional company have an arrangement with BT - that's it. If BT are asking Frank for a big domestic blockbuster he can't use Fury because Arum is keeping him in the States.

You're a fine one to talk about waffle!

Why would fury be participating in a 'domestic blockbuster'? He is a global sporting icon.

BT have a deal with Frank, but Frank doesn't have an exclusive deal with Fury. Fury has gone to Arum to earn some money (which to be fair, he has done) and as far as Arum is concerned that clearly means fighting in the States, which in UK terms means a PPV in the middle of the night and that, without any question, impacts BT's finances. Do you think, not for the benefit of Fury or Warren or anyone involved, purely for the financial benefit of BT Sport, that they would rather the biggest fighter that is with the guy they have signed a deal with fights at 10pm Saturday night or 5am Sunday morning? We all know the answer.

And that's why trumping Fury up as a Warren fighter doesn't really work in this context. Frank can't decide he's going to put a show on at Wembley with Fury headlining because Arum will just tell him to do one. So BT have to accept that for the foreseeable Fury is on in the middle of the night. What next? The big Saunders Canelo fight? Can't happen because Saunders has left Frank. Frank's supposed fights he wants to do with Matchroom? Never happening due to how much the likes of Whyte, Chisora and so on earn. He's got Dubois v Joyce and next to nothing else on the horizon.

Eh Day sounds great as always but in his own words actions speak louder - this week we have the following best price odds:

    Fowler 1/20
    Billam-Smith 1/10
    Harper 1/9

Eh Day and Frank are very similar - they only care about PPV and short change fans with pony on Sly Sports and BT Sports.

Isn't that just the business, sorry 'sport' of boxing in a nutshell? Nothing to do with Warren or Hearn, just the reality that the interests of:

fans 'we want to see 12 round competitive 50/50 brutal contests with a spectacular KO finish'

boxers 'give me a pudding to thrash please. Preferably with no arms and a face made of glass.

    And promoters

'We want our guy to continue to win right up until we make more money if someone else does'

    rarely coincide?

    Thank you mate.

Tony Troll has been very busy on the report button with a number of good posters serving a ban.

Tony Troll never on here posting during a fight card - he was last seen at fight camp polishing Eh Day's shoes with sanitiser.

    The fans are angry,
    Even hurt,
    They didn't ask
    For a dessert,
    New hope however's
    Always budding,
    A live opponent,
    Not a pudding,

We all know all that with everyone, but i was more interested in the snide tricks he was saying frank and Queensbury were pulling at the same time as reaching out, but who knows maybe Eddie and match room have gotten up to similar stuff it's a dirty business

I'm absolutely certain Frank will be able to give his side of the story as he wishes. It's not like either don't have access to the media.

The one thing that stands out here though like a sore thumb is the fact that Frank has gone public saying he wants to do business with Hearn, but hasn't contacted Hearn. Surely anyone can see that seems strange. I mean, take Frank at his word; he wants to make these fights happen. So he calls Hearn up and says 'here's my plan, what do you think.' End result:

Hearn agrees and they thrash out the finer details to make it happen. Great.

Hearn throws a spanner in the works or acts unreasonably - Frank can then go public saying he tried, he was the one who made contact and so on.

Instead we've got Hearn saying he found out via a press release and Frank's still never picked up the phone.
