BT to buy Boxnation!!

    So this means boxnation won't be on sky or what?

    I don't like it. Just leave sky with everything ffs, this new BT whatever is just gonna cost me more ****ing money (I want to watch football too)!!!

    i dont really understand it. when is this bt thing starting? also, if i have sky can you buy or subsicribe tothis bt stuff and vice-versa? it's beyond me a bit. also, will any boxing be on bt that isn't available to view as a sky subscriber.

    i liked the monopoly as well :mad:

    The BT Sports channels will be on Sky. It's mentioned in that Guardian article I posted a link to.

    Executives will look to do deals with Sky and Virgin to broadcast the sports channels on their services, it is understood, but BT customers willing to take them as part of a larger package of TV, broadband and telephony will be offered heavy discounts. Just as Sky had to have top-flight football in 1991 to save the then ailing satellite service, so BT sees it as crucial to its new business model – hence Scudamore's delight.

    I think Techniclour and Cinemascope have been confirmed. Dolby 6.1 is still just a rumour though.

    Great news as long as quality control is applied simular to Sky. Would like to see all programming rolled onto the channel and not have BN stuck on its own.
