It's long since gotten to the point where I feel bad for Buddy and his fighter even before they get into the ring. He just seems doomed to have fighters under his charge who are good enough to get into televised bouts, but not talented enough to ever win them.
No,at least we didn't hear/see this on the HBO telecast.Only things Buddy was heard said last night were what I posted. He really didn't have time to give him some water baby,Mike got stopped very early. He didn't even have the chance of being threatened to be stopped.....
McGirt trains some pretty **** fighters that are in fights too lose. Muriqi sucks, and there was no way he beats Clinton Woods.. and I don't think Woods is that good. Buddy needs to be a little more selective of whom he chooses to train. It was quite obvious even in the pre-fight ring announcements that "mighty" Mike didn't want to be in that ring last night. It was over before it began.
The fact that there was no next round on it's own was enough to make me wet myself laughing, but the way you typed it was hilarious. Honestly, McGirt...comedy writer's couldnt make it up. And actually, some of the comments in the past week or so about some trainers...I think there needs to be a comedy made that is based on a boxing trainer. :yep
Yeah, during the introduction, even McGirt looked like he didn't want to be there. He told Mike to pop the jab in every way except "pop that jab, baby." It's like he's trying to ruin the drinking game. The thing with the laces was hilarious! As soon as he said "next round" on them, I started getting ready to go to the kitchen as soon as the inevitable KO came by way of McGirt voodoo.
Woods was coming after a big layoff, looked like **** last time around against a guy Muriqi looked good and he said it himself that he was scared shitless that he wouldn't have it anymore.Altough I'm not blaiming the lose on Buddy the curse is there.
May 9th 2009,the McGirt curse is still strong in Buddy. We saw another example last night with Antonio Tarver who did do better than the first time but no chance he could win with the shaman in shades. ''Pop the jab with more confidence, baby!Okay?'' ''Let yo hands go when he starts his punches, baby!'' ''Don't look for the big one, just keep touching when he gives you an opening, baby!Ok?'' ''You winning this fight but you need the next 4 rounds!12 minutes baby!''
"you only lose 7 of the first 8 rounds, dont go for the knock out though, just keeping touchin em here, oh and here's your water" *dumps it on Tarvers head*
:rofl Asbad corner advice as ever he has given and he has given some bad ones. And Buddy,go buy some ****ing bottle caps,BABY!
