    Only just surpassed.

    Let's be honest; Bud didn't put down a behemoth like Wilder though.

    In 2007 Emanuel Steward popularized the term "check hook" that Floyd landed on Hatton.
    Boxing insiders knew of it for many years previous.

    Angelo Dundee once referred to Sonny Liston's jab as a "Telephone pole jab" because it was like running into a solid phone pole.
    That is what Bud was hitting Errol with all night.

    So is it just a different name for a pivot jab where you swing your rear leg while throwing the jab to pivot off? Or is it a completely different technique?
