Nice sweeping statement there. I cant actually remember when he started posting....was it around the same time setanta started or after? I think he became popular partly because of the boxing hour. And to the OP. How can you say Bunce has zero charisma and then in the same paragraph ask what Claude is upto?
He sometimes rambles a bit too much when asking a question but can you imagine Box Nation without him? Now that would be an embarrassment. You need his irreverance to pad out the shows. Kerr, Lillis, and Woods were struggling for things to say at times on Saturday.
I like Buncey, you need that sorta enthusiasm, Ok he goes a bit O.T.T at times but it's not that bad..
only thing I dont like about bunce is he is too much of a salesman and bigs everyone up too much (british fighters). but he is one of the best at what he does and is clearly passionate too.
Never thought he was extremely knowledgable, though compared to Sky's lot he's a genius...BUT... He fills the shows out and keep them interesting. Even the other night when he was ranting randomly about Ismayl Sillakh and black trainers for no real reason. And he's very passionate about boxing. How many pundits even watch a wide variety of boxing these days? You get the impression Nelson and McCrory wouldn't know who 90% of the boxing world is unless they appeared infront of them on Sky.
Buncey hour came back by popular demand. Love him or hate him he's unique and the haters are heavily outweighed by the lovers
Yep. The whole Sky team's complete ignorance towards Martinez before and during the Barker fight was shocking.
He has his faults no doubt, but there are certainly many worse. On the whole, I like his enthusiasm for the game and output.
Bunce is excellent on the tv, I think he's brilliant. Ok fair enough, he likes to hear himself speak, but at least he speaks his mind, there's nothing worse than watching a pundit that is basically reading from a script Contrast Bunce to the sky.commentators. The night hate lost to klitsckhco, after the pinky toe debacle both mcguigan and nelson slated hate for it, however when they came back from a break they had changed their tunes completely, which was clearly an order from above. I'd rather listen to Bunce ramble on, at least he's honest
Buncey is the ****in man. The ****er is getting paid for what he loves and you can clearly see he enjoys himself while doing the show. He's your typical geezer that made it on the telly.
Bunce is excellent value and I trust his knowledge and opinions. I really rate Richie Woodhall aswell.
