Would it be fair to say that, like Audley Harrison single-handedly killed off boxing on BBC (as Haye once accused), Haye himself has single-handedly killed off PPV boxing on Sky after his last two fights?

For fans it's great. So I guess we've got him to thank for something.

He may be getting too much stick but he was getting too much money for a cruiserweight who hadn't beaten a decent heavyweight before fighting the division's number one. Yin Yang. Words have accountability. He needs to show humility. Lots of it.

The manner he fought must have disappointed you as you've seen Haye the fighter since he was just about in his teens. Whether money or celebrity has sapped this I don't know. Haye the fighter didn't show up. He would have earned more respect getting KO'd early than diving on the floor and complaining for 12 rounds. Even those he derided as fat bums didn't do that.

:rofl

Hated him so much he shared a coffee and a chat minutes after a 'heated' pre-fight press conference. The hype is entertainment, it makes the event and I love it but don’t insist two mates acting is reality. That feud was as real as those in professional wrestling. No he wouldn't. He'd be ridiculed even more and it would also be tougher to come back from.

Anyone who expected Haye to press this fight can't have been watching him for long. His gameplan wasn't bad for the tools he has.

People were giving Haye attributes he hasn't got before the fight and they're continuing to do it post fight.

Bunce wants to cry a river over the fact that Haye's received two days bad press for his £15 million poor effort.

I have some sympathy for the poor fans who paid to follow Haye to Germany. Ordinary people who earn ordinary wages. They believed what the hype machine was telling them, or at least trusted that Haye would attempt to make a fight of it.

But when was the last time Bunce had to pay to see a fight ?

Yeah, let's all feel sorry for Haye because he's taking some stick. :|

You didn't come over very well, you definately need some media training....coming over as a UKIP candidate talking about sport isn't a good look. :thumbsup

I watched the Sky debate featuring bruthead, aka James Garner. And the other guy, who writes for the Express or whatever.

It was a pointless discussion.
Haye didn't need to be banned, he just needed to be told he sounds like a twat. And it needed to be pointed out to viewers that his chances of beating Wlad were slim.
Instead of pundits lining up to talk him up as some sort of ferocious ruffneck who's gonna KO Wlad. :-(

I don't know when it became fashionable to act like a ****ing pillock to sell yourself as a fighter, but half of them seem to be at it.
Haye's not some brute from the gutter who doesn't know any better. He was just being a dickhead, and his friends in the media lapped it up.

"I'm gonna decapitate Klitschko" ...... like ****, you are.

I don't really think Audley did though, yes he had insane belief in his own ability but I don't think that's such a bad thing. I would say he has always come across pretty humble and seems a good lad.

If he somehow had I take my hat off to him.

Most fights that make PPV nowadays clearly don't belong there and are a clear rip off.

Buzz: And so did anybody who predicted a Wlad KO. I've just looked through 50 or more emails and texts to last week's Boxing Hour and NOT one was right.

Adios.
