Of course that was a legit injury
Only question is if his body stiffened up from the bodyshot and that caused his pull a muscle throwing the next shot, or it was just an nothing more as an unfortunate accident.

Looked legit but i've been hearing some rumors that a donaire left hook to the body in rd 3 started it all but i doubt it. As for the left hook you can check it out yourself.

I seen a shot subtly hurt Burnett, but I agree, people clutching straws saying its fake. I did think Donaire was gonna catch him at some stage

Have to agree, I think a stoppage out of nowhere was coming in favour of Donaire pretty much at some stage. Very slightly fighting to keep Donaire off him

He moved his back leg one way and his upper body the other. It's like he suddenly stretched that muscle in two directions and it was not able to do so.
Freaky ****. And somewhat bad technique.

He was trying to step off the line while throwing the right hand. Great tactic and a smart move, but his foot positioning was a bit off and he injured himself.
Bad posture got Brunett. Now he knows what bodybuilders go through.

Totally legit and very apparent to anyone who bothered to watch the fight with both eyes open.

Burnett looks like a non-ugly version of Daniel Radcliff.

    Injury was legit.

Some leather was flying in that fight both guys landed some hard shots. Only one who seemed to be even slightly buzzed or hurt was Donaire in the 3rd, Burnett hit him with a lovely right hand and Donaire immediately backed up to the ropes and stayed there. Burnett was in no hurry to capitalise seemed happy enough to stick to the game plan rather than go for the finish, which may have been wise as Donaire may not have been that hurt.
