GBP have made unification bouts in the past and seem to be rather good at making fights happen. I don't hear complaints about them lowballing fighters so it is highly unlikely that Burns was not given a good one. I don't think Morrison was keen on the idea at all.
Not really. Schaefer even admitted than they weren't prepared to give Burns what he wanted. And of course there's what GBP did on the Khan-Malignaggi card where the fight buy-in went "missing". Kevin Iole wrote about it: NYSAC subsequently suspended GBP's licence in NY state and fined it. Clearly Richard and co are not above unethical practises. Not to mention the fact that Rich and Oscar lied about Manny Pac taking drugs. I wouldn't believe a word of what they say.

From a nobody to a somebody in the boxing world. Ricky should of at least stayed for that Vazquez fight, OK it got put back, but I'm certain Frank would of got his act together for the re-scheduled date. Ricky could have gotten a truly world class fight under his belt, and then walked away afterwards. By walking when he did, it's put him back a bit, well, it aint put him back has it? He aint gone anywhere really, neither forwards or backwards. By "dodging" that fight, Ricky and team opened themselves up for further criticism.

Yes I agree but he has a little more experience fighting top class opposition he's a more difficult fight than say Kim or Gesta.Im not saying he's world class but he's a decent name to have on your record for sure.
