I think Kevin will show Burns plenty of angles moving left to right getting round that jab mixing it up and down for a late stoppage around the tenth. Kevin is the much better boxer with great power in that left hand...

I reckon Mitchell might freeze. Big pressure on him.

    Burns on points

mitchell has dodgy defence, he can show as many angles as he wants burns will still tag him with his jab and make him eat body shots. burns has proved he can take shots from big hitters so doubt the ko. mitchells more vicious but burns is tougher and has a far superior defence. i heard mitchells looking sharp but burns is growing into the weight and hitting harder apparently, he's also said he can spar lightwelters with ease. mitchell has a decent chin and he bangs but he's physically quite weak imo, he's a spitefull puncher but i dnt see him troubling burns much, i think burns will be physically too big, strong and fit for mitchell on the night and his longer reach will also caus mitchell problems. burns by 4 or 5 rounds.

Burns on points is the likely outcome for me. I agreed with the others saying that there is more chance of burns stopping mitchell than the other way around. Burns has proven himself to be a good champion whereas mitchell has yet to prove himself at this level.

Basically according to most it all the depends on what Mitchell shows up and nothing to do with how good Burns is.

So when Ricky wins a clear decision expect him to get no credit and his detractors to explain how he only won because Mitchell didn't show 100% focused

It's hard to predict how Mitchell will perform. When he's focused he looks very good, as he did against Prescott and Murray. It will be a close one. I can't pick this one

I think Burns will sneak this as his boxing skills are pretty decent as well as Mitchell but i think Burns is slightly the better operator. I wouldnt rule a KO out for Mtchell..

Didn't realize just how little Mitchell has fought since he lost to Katsidis(15/5/10) just 2 fights in since I really think that will be a factor when in against Burns cant see why people are tipping Mitchell by stoppage I think i could be Mitchell to tire and quit on his stool

If Ricky is in the zone he will break Mitchell down as the fight progresses, I expect Mitchell to be dangerous, but Ricky could frustrate and stop him IMO.

Going for Burns on points but a Mitchell stoppage (even in the very early rounds) wouldn't surprise me.

Really excited about this one - it's got domestic FOTY written all over it.
