And very notable that Bunce never mentioned Vasquez' claims from the other week about money.

Of course he is, I'm sick of hearing all this "oooh but Burns is such a nice guy" or "it's not his fault, he doesn't control what goes on" etc. Burns could leave Frank if he wanted to but he doesn't and it is becoming more and more obvious that Burns himself does not want to face Broner, he should have took the fight when it was offered to him last time.

Broners team should now offer Vasquez the money he wants for a unification fight and make it happen just to rub Frank and his cronies noses in it, it is no less than they deserve.

First off, let's see if the fight goes ahead on April 20th.

Then,if it doesn't,why doesn't Broner offer Burns a fight with four months notice?

Just because Broner has to jump every date that HBO shout at him doesn't mean Burns and Vasquez have to.
And if telling promoters and TV companies what's what is so easy, why didn't Broner insist that they move the date back 5 weeks so he could face Burns?

To be fair to Frank, he's done an excellent job with Burns and he [Burns] probably feels he owes him one. That's why he's chosen to remain loyal to him (so far). But it's two training camps in a row now that he's had to scrap, and I can finally see him cutting ties when this Vasquez fight is officially dead. Which will only serve to make things worse as it'll probably leave him inactive while everything is being resolved.

It's all down to Ricky's relationship with Alex Morrison mate.
When Ricky was drifting after his losses,Alex was the one who showed faith and made it possible for Ricky to train full time when it looked like he was going nowhere.
Morrison has had a long and fruitful relationship with the Fish(until this weekend),and Ricky does what Alex says because he's loyal to the guy who was loyal to him.
Would be nice if AM stays angry with Fish though.Schaefer has said GBP want to have a UK base, and Ricky would be perfect for that.
All these people saying "Ricky should leave/tell them to **** off etc" have no idea what the man is actually like, and if they did they'd see that it's not that straightforward.

But you're right.Ricky was treading water at Commonwealth level until Martinez.
