The first and second punches Burns threw and landed that knocked Cook down were right on Cook's back. Especially the first. Injury or not, those punches were illegal and it were those same illegal punches that caused Cook to go down and eventually not continue. A change to a NC or DQ would be justifiable imo. What do you guys think?

There are many different scenarios to that rule, from blatant fouls that need instant dq, to points deductions, to warnings, to technical decisions, to referee's discretion... It seemed fairly clearly, by turning his back, Cook was causing himself to get by illegal blows, the fact the ref counted, suggests he thought the same...
