But Ricky looks pissed.I don't think he's got the thick skin that many boxers have when it comes to public opinion,but that's part of what makes him so likeable.
Maybe we should hope that if Broner or Demarco doesn't happen,F-Wank tries to land him another **** fight.
Maybe then Ricky will say enough's enough.

Billy Nelsons revelation about his trip to the Mayweather Gym, and just doing 10 rounds on a bag for his time there, that just says it all to me. A world champ goes over to Vegas to that gym, and nobody has anything to do with him. Must have been embarrassing for Ricky to make the trip and not do any proper work. Says it all really.

Feel sorry for Burns TBH, his fans just cant see the situation, he should be fighting in those US fights now, and he's not, partly because of bad promotion, partly because Ricky Burns (is not a nobody) but in the US he is treated just like that.....just another fighter.

Go through youtube footage and see the heros of old going through life and death win or lose, representiing this sport we love with dignity and respect. Aiming to better themselves each fight. Forward to 2012 and **** like this is being made, and what narks me more is the likes of Billy Nelson coming on here saying oh we want the big fights but yada yada yada. Well do something about it Billy dont just sit there like a yes man.

Im not saying the fighters of old didnt have easier fights at times but some of the British Champions defence list these days is **** poor!

I appreciate Billy Nelson being on the forum, I value his input as he is involved in the sport, however, he shot me down and has shot others down for speaking the truth. He laughed at my "****"..... but his **** stinks twice as bad sometimes.

A few days back the, "I'm more qualified than you" card came out.....it was coming, eventually.

Billy Nelson can be informative, and then other times, just your average deluded fanboy.....and anybody that goes against that opinion, gets the two fingers.

 

Call it as I see it thats all. Gavin is fighting a tougher fight tonight and hes still on his way up. There is no respect for the titles anymore, just bin them. I said Burns would do well to beat Katsidis and he did very well, the mitchell fight was ok but Mitchell is by no means world class. Im struggling to name a fighter that Burns has fought who is WORLD CLASS, unbeleiveable and undefendable. Credit where credit is due but with that also comes the flip side, **** where **** is due.

 

burns needs to stay away from broner. this guy will punish burns stationary style. i think vazquez is a better more realistic option. for now.
