The way Bute looked in the ring in my mind puts him right up at the top with Ward. I'm actually mad at myself for not making a thread about this earlier, but I was interrupted when I was going to write something positive about the man. Although, honestly, I didn't think he would knock Andrade out that quick. I did think there would be a possible stoppage with Andrade on the receiving end, but not that quick. And the reason it happend is cuz of Bute's combination of skill and power.
I for one thing Bute can beat Froch (I'm not found on the guy), and some others at 168 but Froch has beaten better men so that has to count for something I like Bute and it was a great stoppage but I find it hard to put him over Kessler, Ward, and Froch with a resume of Bika, Joppy, and Andrande (X2) he is going to need more quality wins.
Shut your mouth bro. Froch has beaten Taylor and Pascal. Now compare that to beating Andrade. No comparison. Andrade is a beast. Andrade is easily the 2nd best fighter in the SMW division next to Bute. ANd Bute destroyed him. I mean sure Andrade has no defense, has to block punches with his face because his arms numb up, but dude has like 50 KO's in 51 fights and beat a bunch of guys with winning records. Come on. Very impessive. I would love to see him replace JT but I don't know how that would work-coming in late with no points. The punches that put Andrade down didn't even look like the biggest punches.

People aren't saying Bute should be ranked the #1 super middleweight because his resume is so awesome. He doesn't deserve that, he shouldn't be at the top of the rankings. But talent wise he might be the best super middie. Talent is talent. It doesn't matter who you've fought.
I respect that I even mentioned I feel he would beat Froch but at the same time at the end of the day anything happens in boxing and it would be sorta unfair to rate him over Froch in that regard but I see your point he is more talented and has the tools to beat Froch. And for the record its been a few that has Bute rated over Kessler, Ward, and Froch not saying its you though.
Andrade was a legit top 10-12 SMW. He's a Miranda, Green, Stieglitz, Bika level guy, which is the notch immediately below bute and the s6 people. To even imply Andrade is s6 caliber is insane.
