When you gonna understand it's not completely his fault he was left out of a tournament that was on going for 2 years and still didn't ended. This tournament had 6 fighters + 2 replacements(8 of the top 10). He fought the best of the rest, men.
Andrade was at some point rated 3rd SMW(behind Kessler and Bute) by the Ring Magazine.Bika was a very good fight for an eliminator, Zuniga was the man who dropped the Undisputed MW champion, and later last the distance against a very powerful LHW puncher (Cloud), He tried to get Stieglitz(twice),Sartison,Kessler and Pavlik(twice).
With the exception of not going to LHW because whatever reason he had, he fought the best that were available.You know not everybody should jump weights they feel strong in just because fans want to.And now once he got out of this lack of opponents that Super Six created you think he doesn't deserving man?! I think it's a no-brainer that Kessler is more deserving atm when he beat one of the finalists and gave up the WBC belt for the tournament... One must be a fragging Butehuggingclown not to agree with this...

 

Kessler had his chances. He got outclass and almost draw with Froch. Bute didn't had no chance. Not his fault really because Kessler ***** out of the fight and didn't let him prove if he's good enough or not to face the S6 winner, is it? ... Just saying

 

When he won't fight out of montreal, a lot of opponents mention low offers,
and with his recent weak opposition, then something is wrong.

 

Trying to look at it from all angles.
1. Bute is champ and normally challengers travel to the champ, so Bute unless fighting a bigger name or higher respected champ should be able to stay at home. If he was American he wouldnt be called a stay at home fighter, yet look at Ward if you want to see one.

2. Why arent these challengers calling out Bute? I know Froch/Ward are tied up, but why arent Dirrell and co calling Bute out?
In Kesslers case its a bit different as he has been there and done it and should really still be WBC champ (A forgotten fact).
Steiglitz in talks with Kessler, fair enough, but Dirrell, Johnson, Pavlik arent calling for Bute. Pavlik sadly seems to have trouble again and is not fighting, thats not Butes fault though, and yes Pavlik should be the one to have travelled.

3. What were the reasons Bute and Steiglitz didnt fight whilst the S6 was happening. Bute is understandably criticised if he didnt try and make the fight but shouldnt Steiglitz be also. Did Robert try?
