I know what you mean. When Mike Tyson put Trevor Berbick down three times with one punch I often wondered how close the fight would have been if Berbick had been a million times more talented than he was.
    Food for thought indeed.:think

If Bute will fight ultra defensively i.e to run and hold all night, winning the fight because of that, due home town judge advantage , in my eyes Froch is the real winner, but if Bute will do the same job which did it against guys like Bika / Johnson , Bute will deserve the victory doubtless.

Anyway in the rematch Bute will use lateral movements , in and out attack strategy but he must be prepared to deal with some brawl situations in some way because Froch can surprise him.

P.S We have to see and the other part confirmation about this rematch ( Froch's promoter ) because Froch is more eager right now to rematch with Kessler in U.K .

    Six months?

I guess Bute needs the time as he will be searching the arena trying to recover as many of the shattered bits of his soul as he can.

It is dangerous for Bute to take the rematch but if he wins he comes back in style.

Damn, Bute has some balls for taking a rematch. This could make his career or break it.

Bute doesn't possess the boxing skills to keep Froch at arms length for 12 rounds.

sooner or later he's gonna get dragged into a tear up (especially in front of his home town) and soon as he does, it's nighty night for mr Bute.

But i give him a lot of credit for taking the rematch, he's a warrior, no doubt.

You are 100% right! BUT, I feel that if he does get dragged in, it will only be from time to time, giving him room for recovery.

Using better tactics could help him sustain himself better. In the last fight, he lasted 5 rounds with literally no game plan and the worst defence ever... I would like to see him last the whole fight by being more defensive, and fighting a more serious fight.

As I said before, I think there are a lot of lessons learnt from this fight for Bute and his team, it's up to them to figure it out.

I've said this loads since the fight.

Everyone is saying Bute is rubbish now he's overrated etc.

That's not the case, he just fought the wrong fight.

I mean seriously, Froch's chin is iron, why would you go toe to toe with him?

It's like coming up against a prime Ricky Hatton and instructing your fighter to fight him on the inside.

He changes his gameplan, and it will be a lot tougher for Froch.
