The closer the fight is the more I have the feeling it will be a little bit of a stinker, Froch boxing like he did against AA and Bute not wanting to make it a war... i hope i'm wrong. Anyway, my prediction is a bull**** hometown points win for Froch, and then it being justified by the "experts" on Sky saying he has been all over the world fighting and deserve a little bit of "luck" and also Froch was on the end of a debatable decision in Denmark so it sort of all levels out. I think the hot weather is making me a miserable c**t.
I really want Froch to win and hope he does but he's been in a lot of tough fights, if this was a couple years back I would give him more of a chance. Froch struggles against crisp sharp punchers, Kessler hits hard but he could see those shots coming, Taylor knocked him down, Dirrell stunned him and Ward broke Carl's nose (I think judging by the way he was reacting to it during and after the fight) Bute is crisp sharp and hits harder so I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped Carl. I hope Frochy can do it though he's proved me wrong before.
the arena will be roaring them on..no way it will be boring. I just hope Froch starts getting his **** on early rather than 4-5 rounds later.
I think the Dirrell fight proved that Froch aint losing a decision in his hometown, he lost pretty much every single round and was wobbled a couple of times, yet they raised his hand at the end. So its either Bute by KO or Froch wins.
LMAO at Bunce: Both Pascal and Abraham were better fighters than Bute but, then again, Froch was fresher in those two breathless fights. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...find-his-old-self-to-better-bute-7789266.html
Froch is a warrior...bute hasnt came accross anyone who can take punishment yet. He will be disheartened by this...froch by late stoppage I HOPE
I see Bute staying on the outside as usual and out boxing Froch. Bute to dish out his lethal upper cut to the body when Froch manages to corner him. Froch to look a bit clueless at times with Bute winning by decision, by 4 rounds or so. I don't see Carl getting KO'd, he's just too tough. Hope I'm wrong though.
has bute stopped everyone with that body shot he stopped andrade with,or is everyone just going offa that video on here:think i mean,i know he has stopped a lot,and if im honest ive only seen 3 or 4 of his fights, and im sure he has only stopped one of them
He's dropped quite a few with the uppercut. Check out this video. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vR2tyhpHVwg&feature=related[/ame]
He's also got a dangerous shortened left hand to temple/ear which sparked Mendy and he uses that well so Carl mustn't take silly chances tonight. Ward's not biggest of punches so he felt he could at times risk it. Tonight he needs to put on his best technical display in his career. This is a fight he can win but he needs to follow Rob's plan. Bute is a good fighter, we just don't know how good. Tonight we will find out if he's good or great.
Good post, Carl will need the same discipline as he had in the Abraham fight plus more, he has a decent jab when he uses it, so should try and work off that, if he finds himself getting outworked and losing clearly, he could always go to plan B and fire hell for leather, interesting fight this.
