Bull****. Was hoping Bute would take on someone who would give him a fight. Agree with JR - If this goes a full 3 it should be considered a modern day miracle.

I bet he's thinking Dawson but doesn't knows that Dawson is fighting Pascal or that Pascal might have a rematch clause or he just runs his mouth just to bash Bute.
I hope they actually reach an agreement with Hopkins or Pavlik and they couldn't push Brinkley aside .

No one would say Bute is ducking a bum like Brinkley if they did they can't be taken seriously anyway. I actually would applaud him for standing up to the sanctioning bodies.
Why are so many people bashing this fight? At least Bute is staying active I admire that but y'all have to remember maybe he's using is off-time to spend time with his family. I want Bute to fight the best opposition he can more than anyone else because I'm a fan of his but I'm glad he wants to stay busy. Not like he has many options at SMW.
