From Froch's Twitter: Carl_Froch Carl Froch @ @RichardWest8 not likely to be May 5th now! Announcement will be made soon. 1 hour ago
You and beastside should petition interbox and Bute for an english class, after all.. all you ever do is lick his arse on here, at least if they paid for your literacy, you'd make sense some of the time!
This much is true. I'm not a bute fan, at least not until he proves himself, but he does seem to have excellent defense, esp his head movement. This is exactly why I think Bute vs the aging & slow Froch would be so meaningless. Froch outclasses him skillwise, but would not be able to land. Dirrell or Ward would probably knock Bute into Thursday. They both have the speed to catch him flush. - but I wouldn't actually put money on that, and I sure would like to see either fight. Bute has never impressed me, offensively, but maybe he just needs a better opponent to bring something out of him.
Are you aware that you sound really stupid saying Froch outclasses him skill wise hahahah and Bute as no offense...he had 20 KOs in his first 20 fights and he Koed 5 of his last 6....you should watch a bit more and talk much less...
His three best opponents lasted the distance with him, one of whom kayod him. Andrade (TKO loss) Andrade (TKO win) Glen Johnson (Dec win) Sakio Bika (Dec win) Lolenga Mock (Dec win) Lolenga even said his power isn't good. Anyone of little talent can beat up and stop bums, all his best opponents lasted the distance. Bute is a bum feasting fraud.
Don't make me a Froch defender before a Bute fight... everybody will say I have a hidden agenda. Froch agging how it is, like you call him beat the great skillful Dirrell, and the a very good technically fighter like Taylor, was lucky in both cases but he was "lucky" to many times to be just a coincidence. He has something that we don't pay attention that helps him to win fights he wasn't suppose to win. Froch is very durable is awkward and a raw but somehow efficient counter-puncher. Froch was ranked #2 at SMW now is ranked #3. So you indirectly say that between the #3 SMW in the World and Bute is such a difference that the fight is meaningless, because you think that the chances for Froch to win are small, almost non-existing. You indirectly acknowledge Bute in the same class as Ward. Let me tell you something I noticed and very few beside me or none had. Take a good look at Ward's face after a fight with Froch and you're realized that Ward made it look easy but in reality it was a little more tricky than what we see on TV. Ward's face never looked as bad as after the final. Froch could turn out easy to beat only by the true Elite fighters in the division. Dirrell couldn't, Pascal couldn't, Taylor couldn't, Kessler barely did. You don't know if Bute will do it in a close fight Like Kessler did, or in a clear schooling like Ward did or will totally shock with a KO placing him in performance ahead of both good SMWs that defeated Froch prior to him.
