Yeah but a title fight is supposed to be fought at or below the division limit and not at a catchweight.

I agree with you but it's always been like this as far as i can remember.

Look at all PBF fights , well not all but his "catch weight" fights

It's at or BELOW in this case, the LHW limit. Grachev holds the regional title he won off Sillakh and didn't want to fight at SMW. Bute needs to fight at the lower wieght to remain accustomed to SMW, so they are fighting at a catch.

I actually think Grachev stands a better chance of pulling the upset here by fighting at the lower weight. Bute has been struggling to fight at 168 for a while now.

After the Froch rematch, win or lose, it's time to move up or out.:think

Thank you. He has good range, not only in his jab, and both can be composed. Will have to see if he tries to lunge half as much. Probably won't chance it that often. This was the Hatton/Bradley-Pac OP that started awhile back.

Didn't some people in RBR say that Froch himself looked comparatively under the weather that night.

Froch drives on the left side of the road so he won't qualify for the job,it's all Bute's for the taking

definitely the Froch rematch will decide Bute's career.

I don't think there will be a Froch rematch, certainly not at 168.

Bute should(and I predict WILL) play the weight drained card and go to Light Heavy and get decent money fights against Pascal and Dawson and whoever ain't named Froch or Ward.

It could be a plausible scenario. If he will beat Grachev ( the guy who T.K.O'd Sillakh ) at 170 pounds , the Froch fight loss will be almost forgotten. Then he could take Dawson and then Pascal and if he beats these 2 guys , establishing a good name at LHW then he could demand a rematch with Froch at 175 to avenge his loss from168.

Anyway is just a scenario and I think Bute wants to redeem himself at 168 category but who knows ......... boxing = business .
