you guys are forgetting that Stevenson has a worse chin than even Bute. He got KO'd by a D level journeyman in one round, totally flattened by Darnell Boone who isn't even a powerful D level Journeyman. One power shot from Bute and it's good night vs Stevenson. Bute has better chin/speed/boxing ability/ more proven power......Stevenson is ****ed no matter how he approaches this fight unless he lucks out and catched Bute early before Bute catches him.
i knew you had a good head on your shoulders hey:hey I'm disapointed that bika vs stevenson isn't happening as I really like Bika and want him to get his just due and pick up a belt before he calls it day and his style would be a horrible match for Stevenson, he's maul him and stop Stevenson fosho. The fact that Magee and Stieglitz have belts and Bika has never gotten one is just shitty(because he's had to fight legit champs Ward/Bute/Calzaghe instead of some random euro for a paper vacant belt). Sakio would destroy Stevenson/Stieglitz/Magee (magee would be his toughest).
That's what i'm thinking too.... Bute will do well against a power puncher.... As long as he's not a counter puncher, like Miranda. Was surprised how weak his chin was against Froch counters....
I like Bika too, and i think the "new & improved" version that fought Ward is STILL under-rated. Ironically, he gave Ward his toughest fight vs all the other champions in the S6 tournament. Really rough&tumble, and really resilient. Im waiting for him to be matched up against an A-/B+ champ... he'll beat them!
Sakio is a rough fighter , thats for sure ! He didn't win a major title but he showed that he can give nightmares to the top level fighters ( especially to Ward ) ! That WBO belt ( Stieglitz ) should be at Bika ! I think Bika beats fighters like Abraham , Stieglitz , Johnson or even Andre Dirrell because he has a rough-messy-dirty style which can brake u down mentally and physically if u aren't strong enough . Stevenson probably would've went down ( t.k.o) against Bika ! An interesting fight that I'd like to see is Bika against Froch ( due both engaging styles ) ! I'm sure that Bika would give Froch lots of troubles . :yep

I like the idea of inviting Pavlik to Montreal as a confidence building fight. Very similar style as Froch but a little less do or die. Remember that Froch was hanging em up if he couldnt win, so Froch fought his best fight in yrs that night. Pavlik OTOH is kindof looking like he's only in this for the loot, and obviously won't go balls to the wall the way Froch did with 10K at his back in his backyard.
A fight against Pavlik would be a good preparatory fight for the rematch with Froch due both almost similar styles . Now it depends if Pavlik would be agree with the venue . ( Montreal )
i'm with you here.....Pavlik would be a good look and winnable fight. He's a lot more calculated than Froch so he'll give Bute time to set up his punches and won't bum rush him and go for the gusto right off the bat. Bute should forget all about a Froch rematch for a while cause it's career suicide.
