Its the hardest part to commit to. Even for these fighters. People like to eat! I try to run regularly, and I hate it! Sure it feels good when you are done, but before and during just plain suck. No enjoyment whatsoever. So when I take a bite of that cupcake or steal a few fries, I just think of how much work its gonna take to burn those calories. You can eat a cupcake in less than a minute and its gone. Enjoyment gone. But its gonna be hell to work that baby off. Is the few moments of joy really worth it? That's at least what I try to convince myself!
Taken me a long time to learn this, I'm approaching 57, but running isn't about 'pushing', it is about 'letting go'. I have no set routine, but I do my 10K at a local school track. No sidewalks where I live and I don't want to deal with the traffic, plus the track has one of the outdoor, low impact surfaces. But I always end up walking to the back side and 'sprinting'. That is my "cookie" because it is a release, not a push. Now the people watching me not realize it is a sprint, but.....
Only eat organic foods ''HERMIT'' for everything (fruits, vegetables, meat,etc.). There are way too many toxins and chemical products in all the foods. It's mostly because of that people gain weight and have trouble losing the pounds....not necessarily eating ''FAT'' as of popular belief !! Do an all natural body cleanse, followed by a chelation therapy and after that, you'll see your weight fall easily and naturally !!
