U could substitute Dirrell for Bute in that statement, and see that that did not come to be. Wardophobia is breaking out.
Just read that itis Ward saying that Bute must first fight others. One way or another I didn't think this would be happening anytime soon.
Pre-Andrade I: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=354075 Post-Andrade I, by ESB's own: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=17659&more=1 ...and we all know how impressive Bute was in the rematch. Haters gon hate. Bute said he'd fight either anytime, anywhere. Article over at the Scene. :bbb Locking MSG for April maybe, and a 25K seater stadium locked in for August. We'll see who the **** he fights, bitchas. :yep
...so nobody qualifies for a shot at Ward, except... Kessler or Froch. Kessler is fighting Stieglitz in April.
Ward looked better than ever last night against an overly strong Froch, who admittedly thought to key in on his major advantage, but instead largely increased his major disadvantage. Ward promptly admitted he has NO intentions of losing his own zero vs the faster, slicker, more powerful SP version of him, and one with a chin. And BTW.....it was 8 seconds, he was up, the bell had rung. He didn't need to be fully recouped the fight was over, and the exhausted Bute had WON,:deal
It's not gonna be Bute's fault. He already said he's ready to fight in New York with the S6 winner so stop lying. You people make me puke! The same people that said that Bute was invited in the S6 but he refused. Get a life! Stop making excuses for Ward! PS: Froch looked like crap. Like a C level fighter with a weird jab, no defense, no foot work, no upper body movement and horrible speed.
