I didn`t claim anything for Lucian.I told you to read the quote I answered first here. That man claim Bute is easy for KP.

Pavlik has a much better resume than Bute.Agree

Pavlik won with Miranda by stoppage from cuts.Fact
He won in 7th.Bute won in 3rd after Miranda trained with a better trainer.

Bute`s first match of Bute was an accident due to disregarded helth problems.Fact.(passing the doctor`s non-fight advise). As a corolar you can think from 16 rounds in two fights to give 3 to Andrade is generous.
Librado received a gift in that fight not the other way.

Andrade was and will remain for long a top ten SMW or LHW.

KP is better than Andrade.Agree.But not with much.I woudn`t put my money on anyone in a fight.Would be close.

To conclude, if Pavlik beats Bute I will say is better, even in one match. What will you say if Lucian beats Kelly?

When HBO put Bute and Pavlik on the same card, big chances that they want a fight with this two guys. If HBO want it, it will be happen.

Not fact. They went toe to toe in a brutal back and forth beat down, something Loew no acknowledges wasn't the best strategy.

He stopped Zuniga on cuts, not Miranda. You simply cannot claim that Bute fought versions of Miranda or Zuniga that were equal to the versions Pavlik fought. KP fought both when both were at their absolute peak. Lucian fought both when they were above their best weight, and clearly on the down hill slide.

Neither opponent means a hill of **** with regard to a Pavlik/Bute fight. Styles matter a lot in this one, and so does Pavlik's commitment. If KP brings his absolute best, along with the kill or be killed attitude he used to have, win-lose-or draw, Lucian will go through absolute hell. If Pav looks like he did in his last two fights, Bute will knock him out.

I think if he goes up to 175 his tuneup should be against Yusaf Mack. Mack had recently cracked the top10 in several non-sanctioning body rankings(ESPN, The Ring) at LHW prior to his loss against Glenn Johnson. He's decent but nothing special. Doesn't have a high KO rate. Moves decently but not as well as someone like Martinez. Furthermore, he has a chronic problem of fading badly against guys who bring power, pressure, or both...all 3 of his losses are KO losses to Berrios, Andrade, and Johnson...all of them he got dead tired in.

Granted, the risk is Mack is a fairly decent boxer and if Pavlik is unable to bring his power up Mack could squeeze out a decision (as he did in a mild upset of "Hard Hittin'" Chris Henry).

Going up to LHW might not be a bad idea as overall it's less stacked and competitive than SMW, but I don't like the prospects of him taking on Cloud, Pascal, or Dawson.

    LMFAO at Pavlik vs Dawson!

If he does that, then he & his team are fools.

I've only seen Mack once. I think it was the Henry fight. Not a bad place to start.

If Pavlik can carry the weight, and I think he could, Pascal honestly would not worry me. I can imagine a Pavlik/Cloud fight looking a bit like Pavlik/Miranda, only keeping Cloud on the back foot all night would obviously be a much taller order. Helluva fight no matter the outcome. Dawson? Thanks, but no thanks.

I agree that Pascal is the fight I would worry least about Pavlik in, especially with not knowing how Pascal's shoulder surgery will affect him and that he lost a UD to Carl Froch. However, he's still a good talent who's explosive(albeit only fighting in spots) and moves well, it's hard to gauge his his chin at 175, I haven't really seen him hurt at 175 but he got hurt at 168 a few times(weight drain?).

Having said that, I don't particularly like Pavlik's chances at all against Cloud or Dawson. He'd obviously have a better chance against Cloud but really only a punchers chance against Dawson in my opinion.

Was Zuniga, right. But if you`re right with versions, this is very subjective.
Anyway, Bute had beat the same men much faster, so any more
argument here is reduntant. You recognized it.

And I expect from you Americans, if Bute wins with Pavlik to not have comments such:

-KP is down hill of form; a prime Kelly woul have beat Bute no doubt or

-KP is over his best fight weight; should go back to 160 and fight Martinez. Will beat him for sure.

Such comments would be real childish

So, my challenge is this : come on here after fight and speak loud:BUTE IS BETTER cause he loses even in one match I will speak loud:KP IS BETTER.

    Have we a deal, Americans?

No excuses, I expect Bute to beat Pavlik convincingly, or possibly stop Pavlik.

When Pavlik beat Taylor for the MW championship I said back then people were giving Pavlik too much credit. Pavlik was overrated then and he is overrated now. A faded Hopkins and a smaller Martinez proved that. And yes, Pavlik is in his prime.

Stylistically Bute is a far superior boxer than Pavlik. So again, no excuses when Bute beats Pavlik.

Are you targetting Americans in general or Pavlik fans? If you read most threads on this matter most Americans think Bute will beat Pavlik simply because they think he's better.

Yes. This is true from what I've seen. And since I spend way too much time here, that's a lot.
