Which 168 lb fighter should Bute fight next?:think Only Steiglitz has not fought Froch or Ward...........but we ALL know Steiglitz refused on grounds he could make more money by fighting Kessler........I wonder how that turned out for him Now, Steiglitz wasted a year of his career, likely earning less than 1 mil in his last 4 fights, while Kessler is going to fight Ward in the summer I guess Steiglitz can keep fighting euro fringe contenders and earning peanuts or he can beg showtime to allow him to fight Bute for unification and big money in April. Chances are best that Bute vs the Dirrel with heart will be fighting in April and Ward will continue to duck Bute so long as he lives.

The ironic thing here is that Glencoffee lost out of the supersix, a tournament many Bute fans claimed was rubbish, yet now Glencoffee(a temporary replacement in that tournament) seems to be his biggest win.
Miranda is better than Andrade? :huh I mean, he is now because Andrade has declined sharply of late - but at the time they each met Bute for the first time I'd say Andrade was definitely better.
As far as I know Stieglitz is still fighting Kessler in April. And any fight with Ward is still up in the air.
So you are not only saying that Kessler-Ward will happen this summer, but also that Kessler-Stieglitz will be cancelled?
Please stop with the Bute ruined Miranda routine... Miranda was damaged goods at the time Bute got to him, and never a worldbeater to begin with. Truth is that Bute never has met a fighter in his prime. Andrade I is the closest thing to a prime fighter Bute has fought (even though Andrade was utterly destroyed for 12 rounds against Kessler years prior), and a case could be made that Bute should have lost that fight. Bika is a gatekeeper Johnson biggest win at 168 is Allan Green Magee is a europe level fighter Combined with the fact, that Bute has had the advantage of fighting at home in all of these fights makes up for a pretty unimpressive resume. With all that said, I still rank Bute as the number 2 fighter at 168 until proven otherwise. I hope to see Bute in bigger fights in the future (outside of Canada).
It seems to be shaping up that way. My guess is Steiglitz, Froch, Abraham and Cleverly will be fighting one or another....Froch/Steiglitz(Knottingham) or Steiglitz/Abraham(Germany) and Froch/Cleverly(UK). Meanwhile Kessler will continue to heal along with Ward and then sign to fight in the US, while Bute will get Tony Dirrel because Dre(scared) refuses to go to Canada for a career high payday and a title shot. Froch can then get a title, leverage and more money for an eventual Bute fight late summer while Ward and Kessler do their thing. Dre will prolly hang around the Cclass for the remainder of 2012 fighting a few decent names again. Tony will go back to the drawing board and hopefully get a crack at Johnson or Abraham to regain his ranking for Ward/Kessler winner.
