Mundine has an all round good game now and it suits him, it is more than just speed. He hits very hard, is accurate and his work rate has increased bigtime. Two totally diff fighters with clashing styles. Too hard of a fight to predict cause i've seen only a few of Butes. I really like Mundines chances against Kessler though :yep He has come along way since those scaredy cat days
question, I didn't get a chance to see the Bute/Joppy fight - was it a bad showing for Bute? I'm not sure why such negativity towards Bute, is this just a general feeling about him or due to his performance against Joppy?
That begs the question: why doesn't Choc give Kessler a shot at his belt? If Mundine won, he'd be the man and everyone would have to go down under to fight him. He could make a lot of money by beating Kessler...
Only negativity comes from Amsterdam, who has an agenda, and a couple of posters who know very little about Bute...I am not sure why... This content is protected : This content is protected
Choc would fight Kessler in a heart beat, his manager Khoder pulls the strings, Mundine is just his cash cow puppet. Khoder wont let him near Kessler just yet i guarantee it and when it finally happens expect it to happen on team Boxas terms even though it shouldnt be.
teke, I'd want to believe you but I cannot...Hope you're right though and Choc faces either Bute or Kessler in 2009.
Hope you're not saying Mundine doesnt have the balls, lets not forget Mundine has already fought him when everyone said he wouldnt. Mundine has fought some great competition, better than that of Bute.
Mundine has fought better competition than Bute in fighting Kessler, I agree. I am not counting Ottke and Siaca, to whom he lost. And I am not counting Green because I am not convinced he is better than Bika + Berrio. I am not saying Choc doesn't have the balls. I am saying given his other options, Kessler right now is a very bad risk/reward. Let us not forget that when Mundine fought Kessler, he fought Kessler for Kessler's belt in his own [Mundine's] backyard! That was a completely different risk/reward proposition. Not to mention that Mundine was not the draw he is now, in Australia.:good As for balls, no one has the balls that Mikkel Kessler has. Not Calzaghe, not Mundine, not Bute.
I really like Mundines chances against Kessler though :yep He has come along way since those scaredy cat days[/quote] It's not that difficult looking good, when you are fighting the kind of opposition as Mundine is
I can't believe people believe Mundine would beat Bute. I think Kessler would destroy Bute, but Mundine? Of course not. JT is up in the air since we haven't seen him fight at a full 168.
