Butler vs. Yafai- purse bids

    Lets be honest why would Butler take this fight? He's fought for two world titles at two different weights in 3 fights now. Admittedly he lost one but that was against a great fighter who was a freak at the weight. No real shame in that.
    If he's getting more money for fighting lesser fighters in a ten rounder and will quite clearly be heading for another world title shot soon, why would he take the fight against someone who's yet to prove himself at anywhere near the level Butlers at (for what its worth I think Yafai's a belting little fighter and will prove himself to be well above domestic level just like Paul has)?

    Butler genuinely wants the fight, however it has to be worth his while when at the moment he wants to be getting back into the mix with world titles. Hearn knew full well what he was doing with the Purse bids, was never gonna happen but they obviously wanted the title vacant for Yafai to win. This fight will happen down the line, you can gaurantee that.

    No, he clearly doesn't, otherwise his team would have made a proper bid when it went to purse bids.
