Buying canelo vs ortiz? Is it ppv worthly?

I don't think its worth it. I like Canelo, but it's simply not worth paying for. A victory or loss for either doesn't dramatically change the landscape of the sport, even if it is a good fight. This is what should be a solid HBO fight, not a PPV.

 

I'm in . . . I do not miss many PPV cards so I would more than likely get this one. Canelo is one of the few bright stars coming over the horizon and People will want to see how Ortrees does after he received the worlds most talked about two piece combo with a side of Nyquil. I think timing is everything and this is the right time for this to be a PPV fight

 

Does anybody have any idea what the undercards are looking at? And what weights class is at? 147 or 154? I see Jhonny/DeLeon is on it. That just bumped up my possiblities of buying it big time. If Ortiz has to move up that's no good.

Yea definitely. Especially if they evenly matched and fan friendly style makings of a great fight. Gonzales-Pdl should be good.

 

i dont want to buy but if its the only way to watch it in ireland i guess ill have to. dont wanna miss this fight

 

it's definitely pay per view worthy, especially since hopkins-dawson 1 was on pay per view. I compare every pay per view to that fiasco of a card to determine if it's worthy of money or not. at least with this fight you know there will be compelling action, and i'm sure the undercard will be stacked.

Those would be insane numbers. 300k max seems more logical.
Alvarez would be the biggest PPV fighter ever if his first fight drew 500k

hell yes.. all the **** i used to talk about canelo is out the window.. he's fighting a very good fighter and a fighter who deserves to be on ppv with him.

showtime did awesome with this one.

 

It's getting Stacked with 4 fights... where else can you get a good card like the 2 confirmed already GBP does great undercards.

PDL vs J Gonzalez is a guaranteed war as well, and it ain't getting much attention and its confirmed.
