Byrd vs Ibeabuchi should'nt have been stopped

    Byrd was more aware than some people want to give him credit for. He was complaining to the ref because he knew the position he was in and did not want the fight stopped..you notice after the bell ends the round that Byrd starts walking to his corner so he had to be at least somewhat aware.

    Ike would have seriously hurt byrd if that fight would have continued at that point

    it was already the end of the round it should have gone on and then see how the next round went.

    Youve got to be crazy to think byrd shouldve kept going. He was drooling on himself and completely out of it, he bitched cause he knew the fight was done but wanted something to argue about and say "i couldve continued" so he didnt look as bad to the boxing world.

    I am usually one who complains about modern referees stopping fights too early, which they do far more often than I would like. This was NOT one of those cases.
