I think it would be an exciting fight.

Who do you have winning this one?

Lara is simply too quick for the flat footed Alvarez. I should watch his last fight (Alvarez's that is) but I see the speed being the guy.

Lara is more experienced and better technician.
My concern would be his stamina against many rds pressure.Canelo is still too young and he should be fighting the Baldomirs and Ndous. So far both are in the right path wich at the end will make them collide.

Lara's getting horribly over-rated on here. Alvarez will win IMO.

will never happen at this point, maybe when they're both bigger names and a loss would not hurt their marketability

Lara is not overrated. He wins a wide UD vs Álvarez.

Lara looks far more polished and would go into the fight the bigger man. I'm still not sold on Alvarez, I really like him, but there are flaws Lara would exploit.

Lara is the future of the division if you ask me.

It should only be made if you dont value Canelo's future.

Suck's to be Lara, Who promotes him?
I have a feeling alot of these gifted fighter's from Cuba are gonna be passed over.
(Which is bad for the sport, But is the truth)

I do think Lara would win as he has fought a whole range of opponants, while Alvarez had never faught anyone like Lara before. Alvarez is still being rated by his impressive record and not his lack of amature fights, and people need to stop rating him by that. He is like a 5/6 year fighter, so he is still majorly wet behind the ears. He needs ALOT of experience and people should stop saying "Pfft, this kid is fighting old bums instead of moving up" when he is DEFINENTLY not ready to move up against the main contenders yet.

It's funny that only one of those who voted Álvarez has posted here. It´s they vote and hide. :D
