I did. Littles also had power and was throwing power shots at Toney. I just watched this fight on youtube not too long ago. And I said then he would whoop calzaghes overrated ass.

Very true. Calzaghe, while mobile, doesn't use the whole ring. He doesn't use much lateral movement either. Joe isn't a stick and move fighter at all. Bad matchup for Joe.

Watch the Mundine fight. Mundine has great handspeed, and Kessler wasn't too far off. He certainly has quick hands.

Kessler has fantastic footwork and movement. His fights against Mundine and Andrade show this.

You know what I see. Lateral movement by littles. Circling Toney constantly...funny ass mother****ers I tell you. Not in and out in a straight line Calzaghe style. Jabbing moving to the left constantly...I love when mother****ers own themselves.

Exactly. From the few fights I've seen of Kessler, he's very straight forward with his style. Very textbook. Kessler fell apart and basically gave up late vs. Calzaghe as nothing he did worked. I see a similar meltdown against Toney.

Kessler looked like a God vs. Andrade, but Andrade is there to be hit and that win might have skewed some over Kessler's actual ability. I want to see how Kessler comes back and looks before I pick him over anyone estsablished with greater wins over greater opp.

Calzaghe isn't fast on his feet? That's one of his main attributes. That's like saying Toney can't counter-punch.

He does show vulnerability to straight rights, which is why he'd have a tougher time with a prime Hopkins than Toney(that, combined with Hopkins versatility and movement), but with Toney, he'd have to be more worried about the counter-uppercuts out of the shoulder-roll that Toney so loved to do and ate Barkley up with.

Anyways, it's hard to counter someone who has quick in and out movement, and it's not like Calzaghe just swarms in, he has shown on more than one occasion that he has a very good jab, and can fight behind that. Calzaghe is very unpredictable as a fighter with his swarming, which is why timing him is so difficult, a lot moreso than you seem to think.

That's a great quote by China_hand_Joe, even if I strongly disagree with it.

Calzaghe is straight in straight out. Littles came in and moved to the left when the counter came. Like Calzaghe has half the power of littles anyway. Funny mofos. Toney would laugh at them slaps.

Hell ****ing no he aint fast on his feet. He moves in and out in STRAIGHT LINES. Toney has no problems with that ****..lol> You can hear the commentators talk about littles lateral movement. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS...does calzaghe do that or does he stay in front of you...I hate these ridiculous calzaghe huggers.
