The issue I have with this is that all Caleb Plant paths to victory entail him A) putting hands on a man with extremely good upper-body movement and B) Doing damage with those (fragile) hands against a chin that stood up to GGG's shots and asked for seconds. I'm not trying to knock people for looking at what Plant does well and saying, "well if he does this, this, and this, he COULD win!", but from what I see he's strengths do not take advantage of Canelo's weaknesses (starting slow or gassing late, depending on when he gets going). He needs to display the very best of what he has already, plus things he hasn't.
The timing of his cycle. The fight was supposed to be a month earlier. Honestly, i think he fcuked up the timing in the first ggg fight. Look at the fight, he literally did nothing and was gassed in 6 and not because ggg did anything either. Holyfield aswell had some fights where he fought out of character an looked bad. Im just hoping for a fair decision.
Always a chance. Like I said though, if I was gonna bet, I'm betting on Canelo KO/TKO late, round 10, 11, or 12.
Respectfully I agree but disagree "can't write off the bigger faster person" most areas that's true but plant is so feather fisted and stamina problems that if canelo is losing 7rds to 0 he will just start walking through a tired plants punches could be wrong but that's how I see it!
