2016 saw several causes for concern in British rings.
Among others we saw Anthony crolla virtually referee his own fight v linares, with the full connivance of that dreadful bloated old toad of a referee.

Also there was the scandalous robbery of Solis v Jamie McDonnell....so bad even the mismatchroom sock puppets of sky found their tongues and spoke out!

With mismatchroom reprising crolla linares, and Jamie's brother gavin McDonnell ..another mismatchroom favourite, due to face another vulnerable Latin import soon, can we hope for better in 2017?

Had to be ordered to happen. Shamefully Hearn and McDonnell were quite happy to hold onto the the invalid win over robbed Solis!

    AJ-Wlad will be interesting.
AJ is the biggest Brit/SKY/Matchroom cash cow out there, a "billion-dollar" commodity.
Of course, Wlad and Boente are big and powerful enough in there own right to enforce fair play, and I suspect all this "nicey nicey" build up might turn a bit sour in the final week.
Just hope for a fair decision in the fight.
