Eubank is a middleweight or a small super middle, where as Callum should be looking at Lightheavy fights if he wants to challenge himself. And yeah it’s Eubank not Eubanks

If he cannot get the 168 fights this year he should look at 175, that’s a good call.

Hearn is a good promoter obviously but every now and again he gets it wrong. Kell Brook's career was a shambles and Calum Smith should be a star. Instead Smith's career has completely stagnated after becoming SMW no.1. Makes no sense. The SMW division is iconic in Britain with all the great fighters that have gone before him. Hearn appears to have no plan or schedule for Calum.

Anyone that listens to Gallager needs their head checked. They have already turned down many a big fight. Does Calum actually want to fight anybody remotely deemed as a risk? No.

He does have a plan, just not a very good one. He wants two tune up fights before a big summer fight.
The cynic in me is thinking Hearn can’t put Callum in a big fight at the minute because it will he PPV.
Looking at the current PPV schedule we’ve got Lomachenko, Fury, Taylor/Chisora, Eubank, Joshua over the coming months - that’s at least. So there’s no room in the PPV calendar for a big Smith fight this year. Therein lies the problem.

What Callum needs is some proper rivals. Don't remember there being any needle before his fights, and he hasn't had any long-running feuds with anyone. There hasn't even been a friendly rivalry to speak of.

Groves had DeGale and Froch. There's Eubank Jr and BJS, Khan and Brook, even Joshua and Whyte. This stuff gets people talking and builds profiles. Everyone needs a dance partner.

Assuming he will move to LHW he should already be thinking about the scalps he wants and making some noise about it. Kova could be perfect.

So Smith is going leave Matchroom and avoid potential fights with the likes of BJS, GGG, Canelo and Bivol. Why? They're the biggest potnetial earning fights he can make.

Sounds like he doesn't want the BJS smoke. Duck.

He’s not going to leave he’s just demanding the bigger fights NOW.

If he stays with matchroom and takes the two tune up fights before a big summer fight you will all leather him for fighting “bums”. If he leaves then you will say he’s ducking. So what do you want from him?

fair play bjs straight away signing for the fight jumping up weight most advantages to smith. Will smith be greedy or back out it. If he believes he is number 1 its a easy fight to make and sell no excuxes

    Smith wants it NOW!

Billy Joe has signed up to have two fights THEN Smith.

Smith doesn’t want to sign up for two fights then Saunders. He wants a big fight NOW regardless of who it is.

    That’s what the problem is.

Not at all. Won the WBSS, missus had a littlen so took some time off. He fought N'dam (**** fight) and now wants a big fight. As Hearn said he now needs to deliver the big fight, Mundo deserves it. Simple as that. Gallagher is making some noise to get Eddie to sort it out ASAP.
