He's better as his brother Paul, so if Paul is....

You may have something there as he did mention he’s hands being sore in the post fight interview

I like his skills but he does the same thing round after round. I'd like to see a bit more creativity & show some different looks. It gets predictable & boring. He's been getting hit a bit much lately also.
He might step his game up for Groves though.

I took it as in between rounds near the end Joe G said 'did the hand go then' and he nodded said there both gone. He obviously didn't want to go into it in the end as he doesn't want to give Groves and advantage for the final.

So we have a fighter with no hands and one with one arm.

Sounds like a monty python sketch

Hard to place Callum as he has been matched easy throughout his career. The turning point ,when he should have really pushed on, was the Fielding victory. Since then his wins have been laboured, he has been hit too often albeit by light punchers but generally been in control due to his height and power. Put a class operator in front of him, he may raise his game but I believe Groves takes him to school.

He did what he had to do Smith and he was training for a different opponent who was a southpaw until the last minute.

Everytime he has had a fight people thought would be tough he's upped his level. Groves will win rounds might even drop Smith but I would be very shocked if Groves beats him. Seen enough of Smith to see he has the ability to go up through the levels.

He's a big boring stiff just like his punchbag brothers/cousins/uncles

They should be called the Stiff brothers. So boring and dull in and outside the ring.

His progression seems to have hit some sort of flat line
Needs to remove him self from his comfort zone maybe ?
He is probably one if not joes best , fighters need a challenge even in the gym
Groves at this age had fought much better opposition as well imo

I’ve always said that he needs top opponents to bring out the best in him. That’s why it was so disappointing Braemer dropper out and then Chudinov refused him. I think we see the best Callum against Groves, will it be enough to beat Groves? I’m no longer sure.

    Groves will knock him out.
