With Roy Jones bleeding and tired, Calzage decided to play with Roy and not really put his foot on the gas. I was reading a few worldwide stories this morning and most felt he backed off because of his like of Roy...Thoughts

Jones caught Joe with some good counters, most notably that uppercut. That probably explains it, he wanted to win and not get caught while going for the KO.

I think it was pretty poor show of calzaghe but then Jones had always done this and they were friends afterward.
I just think calzaghe got lost in the moment, in hindsight no doubt he'll regret it.

Joe will fight again, but his hands are ****ed and if he tried to go for the ko then there would be the risk that he might break something.
