Dan-b you say...I refuse to believe this until I see it :bart

He was so far up Hopkins ass he was certainly blocking regular bowel movements. He is on something of a hiatus at the moment

Why is it every time Joe Calzaghe is mentioned, his fans always bring up Bernard Hopkins?? It is laughably childish, really poor. This thread is about Joe Calzaghe, why is the old "but but but he's better than Hopkins, he beat him remember, Joe beat him!" line getting tossed out again? ****-poor.

Oh **** off. I rate Ali as having the greatest resume in HW history and that was a very rough attempt to simply prove that if one is determined enough, you can tear anybody's resume apart.

The fact that you took it so literally - most likely to try and score points against me - is pretty pathetic.

They bring up Bernard Hopkins because the double standards displayed are bordering on hilarious considering the similarities. Beatboxer made thread of the century comparing the two.

I think it is somewhere in one of my 'record comparison' threads over at the British. I definetly remember him agreeing with me when I said it. :yep

I think PAC FAN is a Hopkins humper if I'm not mistake?

Why do I bring up Hopkins? Well he is very highly regarded on these boards and yet with an inferior resume in terms of wins to Calzaghe, (he has fought the better competition) he is lauded and praised as an ATG!

Rightly so to be honest, but it peeves me that Calzaghe is not held in a similar vein by many when he is that bit better.

Aah, the familiar whine of defeat from a Calzaghe maniac. Is there a sweeter sound that the human ear can experience? I think not.

Ok, I conceded he only has 10 great wins. So what...not many others today can claim the same
