nice way of trying to avoid the questions. i know you too well, SLYK. you shouldn't go around forums pretending that you know what you're talking about. eventually some one will make you look the fool. answer the ****ing questions! :think
Two ATGs that is for sure. I loved watching both of them in action. In those days boxing was king of the hill. There was no MMA debate. You basically got your combat sport fix from boxing, or to a lesser extent: full contact karate or K1. Hagler and Calzaghe were both supremle conditioned. Both had endless energy and no stamina issues. I would give Hagler the edge in the chin department although JC had some solid whiskers himself. The outcome would come down to Calzaghe's freakish energy and punch output. He would bamboolzle Hagler whose pressure would not make the Welshman fold. Also, Calzaghe is the naturally larger man so the shots that vaporised Hearns and Caveman Lee would dent but not shatter Joe's jaw. Both were cagey, savy, could get dirty if needed. I don't envision an early stoppage here. Close, hard fought UD for Calzaghe.
He quite clearly didn't know how to spell the word "assassin" when entering his user name. I'd wager around the 800 post mark he realized he had misspelled it and is playing it off like it was intentional. LOL just LOL You can tell by the way he types that his grasp of spelling is tenuous.
How many times will you get it wrong Dino. Its off the scale now. Even without the point deduction, Calzaghe would have got the decision. Even without. Calzaghe won that one clearly. Also Reid was one of Franks fighers also The fight was also in England. Reids country and not Wales.
